Professor Finger war mein Englisch-Dozent an der PH anfang der 90er Jahre. Sein perfektes Englisch und seine feine britische Art haben mich sehr beeindruckt. Auch seine Vorliebe für englische Autos ist mir im Gedächtnis geblieben. Er war ein sehr guter Lehrer, möge er in Frieden ruhen.

FAREWELL Now that your soul is free and bound by gravity no more, I guess it travels over sea to England's shore. I see it floating on the greens along the hedges, for a while. And in the morning haze it seems: Your soul is free and it can smile. It smiles into the mirror of a life so full and good and blessed. I see it flying like a dove that's looking for a place to rest. Take our hearts, wandering soul, and build herein your final nest.
