<p>Die Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg,<br />die Medizinische Fakultät und das Universitätsklinikum Freiburg trauern um</p><p>Prof. Dr.</p><p>Wolfgang Bredt<br />* 4. 8. 1937</p><p>† 16. 1. 2024</p><p>Wolfgang Bredt war von 1979 bis 2002 Professor für Allgemeine<br />Hygiene und Bakteriologie sowie Ärztlicher Direktor des<br />Institutes für Medizinische Mikrobiologie und Hygiene. Seine<br />Forschung war auf die Funktion der krankheitserregenden<br />Eigenschaften von Bakterien ausgerichtet. In den Jahren<br />1982 und 1983 hat er als Dekan die Medizinische Fakultät mit<br />Weitblick geführt.<br />Wir werden ihm stets ein ehrenvolles Andenken bewahren.<br />Prof. Dr. Kerstin Krieglstein, Rektorin<br />Prof. Dr. Lutz Hein, Dekan<br />Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c.
